Finally

My favourite subject, my liver, is on the mend.  In fact it has improved so much it almost back to normal.  It recovered very quickly after the inflammation caused by the cold.  The doctor dropped my cyclosporin dose, it has been a long time since there has been any progress on the drug front.

My Car

As Clare has a full time job we (or more precisely I) decided we needed a new car.  As I am not yet out of the woods vis-a-vis my leukaemia we decided that we had to get some reasonably cheap rather than a something with a bit of poke, e.g., an Evo X or similar.  We were lucky enough to find a Ford XR5 Turbo in mint condition (thanks Chad).  Not too bad for $23,000.

Flinders Ranges

Went to the Flinders on the weekend.  Mum, Nicole, and Clare walked to St Mary’s peak.  It is approximately 23km to the peak and back again.  They managed to find the only day for rain, thunder and lightning, and hail!  A lot of the time they could not see much as the clouds were obscuring their view.  It did however clear up for a brief period when they were at the top.

Fiddle Sticks

Had a damn cold for the last two blood tests (and conjunctivitis in both eyes). Had to take the week off work too. As a result my liver was acting up slightly. Oh well, another 3 weeks waiting for the liver to get better.
